المستخلص

This study seeks to reinterpret the visual narrative of the classical opera Aida through a contemporary design approach inspired by Adolphe Appia’s principles of theatrical space. It explores how modern digital technologies-such as smart lighting, projections, mechatronics, and artificial intelligence - can be employed to create a dynamic scenographic environment that interacts with performance, music, and dramatic movement.

The research analyzes key scenes from Aida through the lens of ancient Egyptian architectural aesthetics, proposing a stage structure that is architecturally solid yet visually flexible. Multi-level platforms and interactive elements are used to enhance spatial transformation and emotional depth. The integration of holographic projections allows for the creation of immersive visual environments that move beyond traditional stage design, establishing a new, interactive relationship between audience and performance.
By merging Appia’s theatrical vision with current technologies, Aida is reimagined as a living, evolving artwork that responds to each performance through visual translation and sensory engagement. This fusion offers a renewed spiritual and aesthetic dimension, enriching the operatic experience and presenting Aida as a dynamic visual narrative that transcends classical staging conventions
