The research constitutes an applied study that illustrates the aesthetic values in designing an educational animated video about the historical foundation of the ancient city of Alexandria. It presents information about Alexander the Great, the founder of the city, and the beginning of the Ptolemaic era in Egypt, while highlighting the aesthetic and philosophical values embedded in the work, which reflect the characteristics of both ancient Egyptian and Greek civilizations. It also explores the intellectual and artistic fusion that emerged through the construction of this historic city, explaining this through the stages of producing the artistic work. The animated graphic elements, including illustrations and texts, are designed to reflect these meanings, emphasizing the importance of animation in narrating and clarifying historical information and events, as well as reconstructing and interpreting events in a way that captivates the audience. The study focuses on the stages of artistic production and the aesthetic values of the design by presenting and analyzing the stages of scene design, the aesthetic values in their composition, and the mechanisms of animating elements within the scenes. Additionally, it highlights the role of sound effects and music in enhancing the temporal atmosphere and the intellectual content of the work, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive artistic experience. The study aims to provide an enjoyable and engaging visual experience that expresses the historical and cultural depth of the city, while emphasizing the creative and aesthetic aspects of the production stages.
